I’ve been busy preparing for my National Theatre Wales development period in Llanbedrog which is coming up after Easter. I’m really excited to be spending some time in a location that has held so many memories for my family, yet I have never been. I had some very interesting conversations with seaside resort and leisure historian Peter Borsay a few weeks ago about the holiday as a ritual which has been shaping my thoughts.

I’m also gearing up to share some work in development with Garfan Yr Odyn. I’m part of a group of self-organising Wales-based artists who will be throwing open their studio doors on 1st May 2014 at Volcano Theatre in Swansea. I plan to show a further development of Vocal Spiel having almost waded through all the useful feedback I received from Freshly Scratched at Battersea Arts Centre.
