Rebecca Louise Collins is a performance artist currently based in Madrid, Spain. Her performance pieces have been shown at various venues across London and the UK as well as internationally. These pages will attempt to give an insight into her solo practice, collaborations and work as practitioner. She combines reality with fiction, public with private to create intimate experiences that often experiment with audio and multi-media technology. Her practice focuses on the dynamic between audience and performer, considering the impact of varying performative states that range from the passive to the active and how these affect the reading of gender and culture.
